All of my 21 turnouts have under table (or under the turnout in a sinkhole) switch motors. A Peco/PL10 installation is far superior to using an Atlas with a #65 motor if you can get past the sinkhole installation. In one case I modified a new Atlas turnout to accept a Peco PL-10 switch motor and it has been working flawlessly for three years.

I have several locations on my layout where the turnout throwbar is located near some under-the-table obstructions – requiring some ingenuity to get the job done. In one case, I made an extension linkage to get around obstructions.

29 Posts. #5 · Mar 27, 2019. I added my double slip just recently. I used two PL-10EW motors. The two wires coming from the middle – joint these to the dropper wires. The wire at each end of the point, connect each of these to the opposite motor (wire on the left hand point connects to the motor on the right visa versa)

When it comes to wiring I am an illiterate and have 6 PECO turnouts to wire. I have on hand a 17V DC and 20V AC transformer, Peco PL-10 turnout motors, and a Peco CDU as well as terminal strips and SPDT momentary toggle switches. The wiring diagram with the CDU looks like it uses a buss type wiring plan but I think this is an over simplification.
